In 1979, Bshop Willie Roger Logan was asked by his Pastor, the late Bishop Henry Roberts, to relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia, to start a church.  With guidance from Bishop Roberts, his faith in God, and the call on his life, Bishop Logan sold their home in Alexandria, Virginia, and relocated their family to Fredericksburg, Virginia. Bishop Logan stepped out on faith, and trusted God to open the doors for them. During that time, their children were the only members of their church. Over the years, God has blessed the church with many faithful members.

In April 1979, Bishop Logan purchased the former night club, Wayside Inn, where he converted the building into a church.  The building had been vacant for many years, making conditions almost unbearable.  With God's blessing and their faith and trusting in God, help from family and friends, they were able to open the doors to Grace Redemption Church Of Christ, Bible Way World Wide, (BWWW) Inc., Fredericksburg, Virginia in September 1979.

In September 1979, Bishop Logan was installed Pastor of Grace Redemption Church Of Christ, BWWW, Inc., Fredericksburg, VA, by Apostle Lawrence G. Campbell, Sr.

In September 1986, Bishop Logan was dedicated as Founder of Grace Redemption Church Of Christ, BWWW, Inc., Fredericksburg, Virginia.

In 1999, Bishop Logan was appointed Assistant in the Northern Virginia District #1, followed by the consecration of becoming District Elder.

In 2003, Bishop Logan was appointed Bishop Elect.

In July 2004, Bishop Logan was appointed the District Bishop of the Northern Virginia District.

On April 20, 2013, Bishop Willie Roger Logan passed the Mantel to Elder Leonard Robertson, who has been Assistant to Bishop Logan for over twenty years.

It is with our deepest sympathies Bishop Logan, a Faithful Servant of the Lord, was called Home on Thursday, May 14, 2020.  Bishop Logan will be missed and fondly remembered by all.

"But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God."
